Chris Parish
Chris Parish is a man with a big voice. That’s the first thing that hits you when you listen to his music. On closer inspection you realize he is also a great song-smith with a a great feel for a hook and knack for writing really catchy choruses.
Chris is obviously a man who has paid his dues by spending a long time immersing himself in the American classics. There is a real classic west-coast feel to some of the arrangements with touches of The Byrds, The Doors, The Mama And Papas and various other acts that have captured that melancholy yet full sound of California.
He pays homage to the classics without ever sounding like some kind of tribute act. Make no mistake about it, Chris manages to remind the listener of some of the great music of the past but he has a uniqueness to his sound and songs that is all his own.

There is also a modern feel to the sound. This is by no means a nostalgia trip. In fact, I would hazard a guess that you will be hearing a lot of Chris on radio in the very near future. With a great voice, catchy songs and classy production, Chris Parish is definitely one to watch out for!
